Serhiy MARTYNOVYCH

Serhiy was born and lived in the city of Stryi in the Lviv region, where he obtained a qualification as a mechanical technician. He worked as a repair locksmith in the forging and mechanical shop of the Stryi Car Repair Plant. His colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person who could make decisions in difficult situations, earning him authority and respect.

In April 2022, Serhiy took up arms to defend his homeland. For his diligent execution of combat missions, he was awarded a certificate and the "Cossack Cross - For Combat Merit."

47-year-old Serhiy Kostiantynovych Martynovych was killed on June 17, 2023, near the settlement of Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region while performing a combat task.

Serhiy is survived by his daughter Yevheniya, son Oleg, granddaughter Sofiika, sister, and brother.

The team at the Stryi Car Repair Plant of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bids farewell to Serhii Martynovych with deep sorrow. His courage and willingness to take responsibility will forever remain within us. Honor to the Hero!
