Sergiy NIKITYUK

Serhiy Yuriyovych Nikityuk was born in the village of Sankino, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Alapayevsk District. In 2019, he began working as an operator at the wastewater treatment facilities. He worked as an operator at the production structural unit "Odesa Directorate" of the branch "Center for Construction and Installation Works and Operation of Buildings and Structures" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." His work experience in the railway sector was 5 years.

On August 22, 2024, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend our motherland from the aggressor. He served as a soldier, bravely defending his homeland and providing a worthy resistance to the occupiers.

Serhiy died on November 10, 2024, in the settlement of Dalne, Pokrovsk District, Donetsk Oblast. While carrying out a combat mission to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, he sustained injuries that were incompatible with life.

Colleagues remember him as a quiet, calm, disciplined, and responsible worker. Serhiy was a caring, sensitive, and modest person, concerned about the problems of others. He was a loving son who lost his father at an early age and was a support to his mother, Iryna. He had plans for the future.

Serhiy is survived by his mother. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
