Serhiy PAVLOV

Serhiy was born in the village of Bondarivka, Mykolaiv region. In 2001, he joined the railway, and from 2008, he worked as a contact network electrician in the Odesa Electric Supply District. He dedicated a total of 17 years to the railway.

Colleagues remember him as a passionate, disciplined, and responsible worker with a great sense of humor. Serhiy was respected, always managed to complete his tasks on time, and was ready to help when needed.

On August 5, 2022, Serhiy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he exemplified courage and dedication. He bravely defended his homeland. During short leaves, he always found time for his railway friends. In August 2023, he was awarded a combatant's certificate.

Serhiy, the contact network electrician, was killed on March 1, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Kherson direction, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Serhiy is survived by his wife and two sons.

The team of the Odesa Electric Supply District of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in profound sorrow and pain before Serhiy. His courage, dedication, and fatherly sacrifice will remain a model of valor. Glory to the Hero!
