Serhiy Solovyov

Serhiy was born in the city of Zaporizhzhia. He received vocational education and worked as a repairman at the Zaporizhzhia Electric Locomotive Repair Plant. Despite his short time at the factory, his colleagues remember him as modest and easy to communicate with, who performed production tasks quickly and efficiently. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.

On September 5, 2023, Serhiy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving in the legendary 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodny Yar."

41-year-old soldier Serhiy Solovyov was killed on December 20, 2023, in the village of Bohdanivka, Donetsk region, from a blast wave.

A month before his death, Serhiy was awarded a high honor—the badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the "Golden Cross."

Serhiy is survived by his wife and son.
