Serhiy Sosnovskyi
Serhiy was born and lived in the village of Doroshivka in the Mykolaiv region. He worked as a guard at the building and structure maintenance section of the Znamyanka station.
On October 8, 2019, Serhiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2020-2021, he participated in the defense against the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and held a certificate as a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO).
In civilian life, Serhiy was a calm, friendly, and well-mannered employee who was passionate about football and participated in competitions.
23-year-old Private Serhiy Sosnovskyi died on July 27, 2022, in Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of a car accident on the Kryvyi Rih–Dnipro highway.
Serhiy is survived by his mother Lyudmyla Valeriyivna and sister Yuliya.
The team of the Znamyanka region of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the tragic loss of our colleague. The guard of the section, who was an ATO participant and an athlete, died while serving. Serhiy's dedication to military service and his youth, cut short by a tragic turn of events, will remain in our memory. Eternal glory to the Defender!
