Serhiy Tsyhanov
Serhiy was born in the village of Novoborysivka in the Odesa region to a railway worker family. After graduating from the Tsebrykiv Agricultural College, he got a job as a night watchman at the passenger car depot of Odesa-Holovna station.
The head of the trade union, Serhiy Zamnyborsh, recalls that Serhiy was a diligent and responsible worker, a friendly and reliable friend whom one could always count on.
On March 9, 2022, Serhiy volunteered to go to the front. He served in the 126th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
24-year-old soldier Serhiy Tsyhanov was killed on August 26, 2023, near the settlement of Burhunka in the Kherson direction.
Serhiy is survived by his mother, Halyna Petriivna.
