Vadym PRYSTUPKO

Vadym was born in the town of Nosivka, Chernihiv Oblast. In January 2020, he joined the railway, working as a 3rd class trackman in the Nizhyn track division. Colleagues remember him as a responsible worker and a kind person.

Having lost his parents at an early age, Vadym was a compassionate and generous individual, diligent, sensible, and curious. He loved animals and maintained a household. He dreamed of a happy future and planned to marry his beloved girlfriend.

On January 27, 2023, Vadym joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he was an example of courage, bravery, and valor for his comrades, remaining true to his oath until the last moment.

37-year-old soldier Vadym Prystupko was killed on July 4, 2023, while performing his military duties near the settlement of Rivnopil in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk Oblast.

In March 2024, Vadym was posthumously awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine."

Vadym is survived by a cousin and nieces and nephews.
