Valentin PROKOPOV
Valentin was born in the village of Nerubaiske in the Odesa region. He worked as a third-class shooter for the military security team at the Odesa-Sortuvanna station in the Odesa military security detachment of Ukrzaliznytsia.
On June 14, 2022, Valentin was mobilized. He served in the second airborne platoon of the 4th airborne battalion.
32-year-old Valentin Prokopov was killed on December 13, 2022, near the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
His colleagues remembered him as a diligent, persistent, and responsible worker. Valentin's life, dreams, and hopes were cut short on the battlefield. As noted by the Nerubaiske village council, the bright memory of the brave Hero who gave his life for Ukraine will forever remain in our hearts.
Valentin is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.
