Vasyl BELOSVETOV

Vasyl worked as a locomotive engineer at the Znamyanka locomotive depot. He dedicated over 30 years to his work on the railway.

Almost from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Vasyl Pavlovych went to defend the integrity of Ukraine.

52-year-old Vasyl Belosvetov was killed on October 5, 2022, near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.

Colleagues remember him as a kind, sincere, and diligent worker who always selflessly helped and willingly shared his invaluable knowledge and skills with the young employees of the depot.

Vasyl is survived by two sons, one of whom continues his father's railway profession.

The team at the Znamyanka Locomotive Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague with deep respect. The locomotive engineer with over 30 years of experience, who was a mentor to the youth and a friendly companion, went to the front and fell as a Warrior. His dedication to the Motherland and the fact that his son continues the work of his railwayman father is our eternal duty of remembrance. Eternal memory to the defender!
