Vasyl HLADKYI

Vasyl Hladkyi lived in the village of Hodynia in the Lviv region. He worked as a crane operator at the Lviv mechanized loading and unloading distance of Ukrzaliznytsia. Information about his work experience on the railway is not provided in the text.

In August 2023, Vasyl was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior gunner in the anti-tank platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion.

31-year-old junior sergeant Vasyl Hladkyi was killed on October 3, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Terny in the Donetsk region.

Kind, cheerful, reliable, and caring in civilian life, Vasyl remained the same for his older and younger comrades during the war. At the same time, Vasyl never accepted evil and injustice, and thus fought the enemy relentlessly.

Vasyl is survived by his father. We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones.
