Vasyl LOS

Vasyl was born in the village of Zrazkove in the Zaporizhzhia region. Since 2009, he worked as an electrician for the repair and maintenance of communication equipment and devices of the 5th category at the Melitopol and later at the Zaporizhzhia signaling and communication distance.

He was described as having "golden hands and being the soul of the company." Vasyl grew up in a large family and had an early interest in technology. For the last ten years, he was passionate about beekeeping, maintaining around fifty hives, and during the winter, he crafted them and other wooden products. His family—wife Natalia, daughter Olena, and son Danilo—was his main concern.

After six months of living under occupation, Vasyl moved his family to Zaporizhzhia, and on January 24, 2023, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a junior sergeant, progressing from the supply company to a senior gunner of a combat vehicle.

Forty-eight-year-old junior sergeant Vasyl Los died on October 10, 2023, during combat operations near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

For his displayed courage, he was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.

Vasyl is survived by his wife Natalia, daughter Olena, and son Danilo.
