Viktor DENISOV
Before the war, Viktor worked as a locksmith-electrician repairing electrical equipment of the 4th category at the wagon repair shop of the Zhmerinka station. His colleagues said he was a "master with golden hands."
Viktor had combat experience, having participated in the ATO in 2015. On the very first day of the full-scale invasion, February 25, 2022, he volunteered to go to the military enlistment office. His daughter Olga recalls that he was determined to protect everyone, as he did not want to see in his hometown of Zhmerinka what the occupiers had done in the east. He served as a senior gunner in a mechanized platoon.
58-year-old senior gunner Viktor Denisov was killed on October 3, 2023, during a mortar shelling in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
Viktor is survived by his wife Zoya and daughters Natalia and Olga.
