Viktor Ostapenko

Viktor was born and lived in the city of Pomichna, Kirovohrad region. Since 2011, he dedicated his life to the railway, working as a track machine and mechanism technician of the 5th category at the Pomichna track distance.

During his time at work, Viktor established himself as a disciplined and hardworking employee. He had "skilled hands," enjoyed repairing machinery, electrical systems, and plumbing, and loved active outdoor recreation.

Soldier Viktor passed away on October 18, 2023, in the hospital from serious injuries sustained while carrying out a combat mission.

Viktor is survived by his family.

The team at the Pomichna track distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns Viktor with deep sorrow. His dedication to work, courage, and great sacrifice will forever remain an open wound and a worthy example. Glory and memory to the Warrior!
