Vitaliy HODUN
Vitaliy Hodun was born in the Yavoriv region of the Lviv region. He began his career in railway transport in 1998, after graduating from the vocational technical school No. 52 in Lviv. Initially, he worked as a track installer, and later, starting in 2004, he served as the operator of a non-removable railcar in the Lviv railway division. His experience in the railway sector spans approximately 26 years.
Vitaliy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 29, 2024, serving as a soldier-machine gunner. As part of his unit, Vitaliy successfully carried out combat missions.
In November 2024, the family received the tragic news that on November 23, in the vicinity of the settlement of Mykhailivka in the Kursk region, Vitaliy was killed.
Vitaliy diligently performed his duties and was respected by his colleagues. In everyday life, he was cheerful, decent, and exceptionally responsible.
