Vitaliy Kholodov
Vitaliy was born in the city of Kotovsk (Podilsk) in the Odesa region to a family of railway workers. After graduating from Vinnytsia Transport College, he dedicated 12 years to the railway, working as a 5th-grade operator of a flaw detection trolley in the Podilsk railway division.
On June 18, 2022, Vitaliy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He bravely defended his homeland, was devoted, and believed in the independence of our state. Colleagues remember that Vitaliy embodied the qualities of a true man: kindness, sincerity, justice, and loyalty, always being a strong support for his family.
Vitaliy Yevheniyovych Kholodov was killed on April 8, 2023, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of an enemy attack while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region.
He is survived by his mother and brother.
