Vitaliy VOVK

Vitaliy Ivanovych was born on November 14, 1966, in the village of Dranka, Tulchyn district, Vinnytsia region. He worked as an electromechanic in the second group of the production unit "Zhmerinka Signal and Communication Distance." His work experience on the railway totaled 29 years.

On the second day of the war, February 25, 2022, Vitaliy Ivanovych was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior soldier-paramedic. His primary goal after the aggressor's invasion was to defend Ukraine's independence.

45-year-old senior soldier-paramedic Vitaliy Ivanovych Vovk was killed on May 26, 2022, near the settlement of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, as a result of mortar fire, sustaining injuries incompatible with life.

His colleagues knew him as a skilled and diligent electromechanic who performed tasks with a high level of professionalism. He was a kind, sincere, and decent person who dreamed of a happy future for his family and fruitful work.

Posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.

He is survived by his wife and children.

The team of the Zhmerinka Signal and Communication Distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the irreparable loss.
