Vladyslav HALAIDA

Vladyslav Halaida was born on July 15, 1998, in the village of Shevchenkove, Berezivskyi District, Odesa Oblast.

He began his career on the railway in 2017 as a locksmith and was transferred the same year to the position of assistant locomotive driver at the production unit "Locomotive Depot Odesa-Sorting."

On September 1, 2022, Vladyslav Halaida was killed while performing a combat mission in the Kherson region.

During his years at the depot, he established himself as a highly qualified specialist, disciplined, responsible, and demanding of himself and his colleagues. He had an excellent understanding of his area of work, quickly adapted to complex production situations, and always found optimal solutions.

The team at the Locomotive Depot Odesa-Sorting of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bids farewell to their colleague with deep sorrow. His dedication at work and heroism on the front lines will forever remain in our hearts. Glory to the Hero!
