Volodymyr HOVTYAN
Volodymyr was born in the town of Tomashpil in the Vinnytsia region and lived in the village of Vapniarka. He obtained a qualification as a tractor driver. He worked as a plasterer of the 3rd category on the railway at the construction site of Vapniarka station in the Odesa region.
Colleagues describe Volodymyr as a reliable, polite, disciplined, and cheerful friend who was always ready to help and had great plans for the future.
On February 25, 2022, Volodymyr was mobilized. He served as a crew member of the machine gun section in the fire support platoon in Mykolaiv region.
40-year-old soldier Volodymyr Hovtyan was killed on June 29, 2023.
The soldier was buried in the village cemetery in Rakova, Tulchyn district.
The fallen soldier is survived by his mother, Olha Vitaliivna, and his sister, Svitlana.
