Volodymyr MALYARENKO

Volodymyr was born in the village of Subottsi in the Kirovohrad region. He worked at the production unit "Znamyanka Quarry," a branch of the "Center for Industrial Management" of Ukrzaliznytsia, as a 5th grade excavator operator for HYUNDAI.

Volodymyr had already completed his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was one of the first to be mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the full-scale invasion of Russia.

Volodymyr Malyarenko was killed on May 12, 2022, during an enemy mortar shelling in the settlement of Vodiane in the Donetsk region. He had just turned 23 a week before his death...

To his colleagues, Volodymyr was remembered as a diligent worker, full of strength and energy for life, determined and cheerful. He planned to work on the railway and had big dreams for the future. He dreamed of starting a family and having children under a peaceful sky. But the terrible war cut short this young life and dashed all his plans.

Volodymyr is survived by his mother and brother.

The team at Znamyanka Quarry, a branch of the "Center for Industrial Management" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," mourns the loss of their colleague. This young excavator operator, full of life and great plans, heroically fell in Donetsk while defending the right to a peaceful future. His diligence and energy will always be remembered. Eternal memory to the Hero!
