Volodymyr PROTSYK
Volodymyr was born and lived in the city of Starokostyantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. He graduated from the local lyceum with a specialization in manual welding. After his mandatory service in the National Guard of Ukraine (2019-2020), he began working on the railway. He worked as a manual welder of the 4th category in the artificial structures workshop of the Starokostyantyniv plant for reinforced concrete sleepers.
His colleagues knew him as an honest, kind, cheerful, and polite person who diligently performed his work. Volodymyr had many friends and always smiled, dreaming of getting married and starting a family.
From the first days of the full-scale war, Volodymyr was mobilized into the National Guard of Ukraine.
23-year-old Volodymyr Protsyk, a welder, was killed on December 21, 2023, in the village of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region while defending our land from the enemy.
Volodymyr is survived by his mother and sister.
The team at the Starokostyantyniv plant for reinforced concrete sleepers of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in deep, sorrowful mourning for Volodymyr Protsyk. Eternal memory to the young Hero!
