Volodymyr Shyshka

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Shyshka was born in the village of Nova Osota, Oleksandriia District, Kirovohrad Oblast.

His colleagues remember him as a kind and bright person, a reliable friend who was always ready to help. In peacetime, he enjoyed fishing and made plans for the future.

Volodymyr worked as an electrician in the operation of distribution networks, 4th qualification group, at the production unit "Shevchenkivska Electric Supply Distance" of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia".

On March 1, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in response to the beginning of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. He served as a junior sergeant in the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade.

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Shyshka was killed while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the combat zone: Donetsk Oblast, Bakhmut District, the settlement of Bohdanivka.

He is survived by his wife and daughter. His parents are left without their beloved son.
