Volodymyr lived in the village of Pokrovske in the Donetsk region. He worked in the Track Service (PCh-Lyman) as a trackman, dedicating 22 years to his work on the railway.
52-year-old Volodymyr Vashest was killed on August 11, 2022, during the shelling of the city of Bakhmut.
Colleagues remember Volodymyr as a reliable, kind, and decent person.
Volodymyr is survived by a daughter and a brother.
The team of the Track Service (PCh-Lyman) of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" shares in the sorrow of this irreparable loss. His dedication to work and bright memory will remain with us forever.
