Vyacheslav FALKIVSKYI

Vyacheslav lived in the village of Serbynivka and worked at Ukrzaliznytsia for over 20 years, holding various positions, including as a 4th class locksmith for rolling stock repair at the passenger car depot in Hrebinka. His family remembers him as a cheerful, sincere, kind, and loving man.

On November 1, 2022, Vyacheslav was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the toughest battles in Donetsk region: near Sloviansk, Bakhmut, and Lyman. On May 17, 2023, he miraculously survived a severe shrapnel wound near Bakhmut. After treatment, Vyacheslav returned to his unit, saying, "I can't leave the guys." He continued his rehabilitation and prepared to return to the front lines, but his heart could not withstand it.

The 32-year-old soldier Vyacheslav Falkivskyi, a grenade launcher from the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade, died from his injuries on September 23, 2023, in the city of Zvyagel in the Zhytomyr region, during rehabilitation after returning from the front.

Vyacheslav never complained about his health and always encouraged his family.

Vyacheslav is survived by his wife, Nadiya.
