Yaroslav FEDYUNIN

Криворізький загін воєнізованої охорони
12.09.1970 – 09.09.2024

Yaroslav Anatoliyovych Fedyunyn was born on March 12, 1970, in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. From an early age, he was passionate about drawing and shooting. He had hobbies such as electronics and tourism, frequently traveling with his wife and son to various parts of Ukraine.

He began his career in railway transport in August 2019 as a third-class shooter in the shooting team at Kryvyi Rih-Glavny station, part of the "Kryvyi Rih Detachment of Militarized Guard" of the regional branch "Dniprovsk Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." From March 2024, he worked as a guard for the militarized guard team in Kryvyi Rih, part of the "Departmental Militarized Guard" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He dedicated five years of his life to working on the railway.

On July 1, 2024, he was called up during the general mobilization to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions aimed at preserving the state's sovereignty as part of a mechanized battalion in the Pokrovsk direction, providing a worthy resistance to Russian occupiers. His comrades remember him as a loyal friend who exemplified courage and dedication.

Yaroslav was killed on September 9, 2024, from a shrapnel wound sustained during an explosive injury while performing a combat mission to ensure national security and defense measures against the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, in the vicinity of the settlement of Mykhailivka in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast.

His wife, Iryna, remembers him as a faithful, reliable, and loving husband, a caring father to their minor son. His colleagues recall him as a disciplined, qualified worker who was always ready to help.

Yaroslav Anatoliyovych is survived by his wife Iryna and their minor son.

The team of the Kryvyi Rih Detachment of Militarized Guard deeply mourns the irreparable loss of a colleague and hero. We share the grief of Yaroslav Anatoliyovych's family and loved ones. May the bright memory of this brave defender forever remain in our hearts. Eternal memory and honor!
