Yevhen ANIKUSHIN

Yevhen was born in the village of Svesa, Sumy region. In June 2018, he joined the railway, dedicating 5 years of his life to it. He worked as a firefighter (respirator operator) on the fire train at the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi station in the Kyiv squad of the militarized security service.

To his colleagues, Yevhen was remembered as a responsible and wise worker, someone they could always turn to for advice. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, which brought him true satisfaction. He was a caring husband and father.

On May 16, 2022, Yevhen enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he was an example of courage and dedication for his comrades, demonstrating true patriotism and strength of spirit.

Yevhen Anikushin was killed on June 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

For his personal bravery and selflessness, he was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.

Yevhen is survived by his wife and daughter.
