Yevhen BATSANOV

Yevhen was born on August 27, 1982, in Chernihiv. He lived in Znamianka, Kirovohrad region. He had a vocational education, having graduated from Vocational Technical School No. 3 as a "machinist." Since October 31, 2018, he worked as a machinist of broad profile, 4th category, in the Auxiliary Mechanical Division of the "Znamianka Repair Depot" production unit of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." Colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person. He had a strong and decisive character, which earned him authority and respect among his peers. He worked in the railway industry for 17 years.

In April 2022, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served as a senior sapper-grenadier in the engineering-sapper platoon.

During his service, he was wounded on January 24, 2025, near the settlement of Prudjanka in the Dergachiv district of Kharkiv Oblast and, unfortunately, while in the "Feofania" hospital, Yevhen Oleksiyovych passed away on February 12, 2025.

We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Yevhen is survived by his wife and two children – a son and a daughter.
