Yevheniy Kalish

21-year-old soldier Yevheniy Kalish was killed on February 23, 2023, near the village of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. He will forever remain 21 years old.

Yevheniy was born and lived in the village of Davydivka, Poltava region. In 2021, he began working for the railway as a train assembler at the Pryluky hub (now the "Station Operations Service" of the Poltava Directorate).

Colleagues described Yevheniy as a sincere, loyal, and reliable friend.

On February 24, 2022, Yevheniy was mobilized and served in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The team of the Station Operations Service of the Poltava Directorate of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the heroic death of Yevheniy Kalish. The youngest among his railway colleagues, the train assembler fell as a Hero. His short but dignified life and sincere loyalty will forever remain in our memory.
