Yevheniy MYAHKIKH
Yevheniy was born on March 31, 1983, in the village of Voronizh, Sumy region. He trained as an assistant locomotive driver. After completing his mandatory military service, he began working at the Konotop locomotive depot in 2004, where he held the position of locomotive driver since 2011. He dedicated 19 years of his life to the railway.
Since childhood, Yevheniy was passionate about motorcycles, and his favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting. He was an educated person who read extensively about his interests.
Demonstrating patriotism and courage, in March 2022, he volunteered to defend Ukraine. Yevheniy participated in the defense of Sumy region, Soledar, Kharkiv, Lyman, and carried out combat missions in various areas of the front.
40-year-old soldier Yevheniy Myahkikh was killed in battle for Ukraine on September 19, 2023, near the settlement of Yampolivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region.
He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "For Exemplary Service."
Yevheniy adored his children and was a true role model for them.
Yevheniy Myahkykh is survived by his wife, son, daughter, mother, and father.
