Yuriy KUHAI

Yuriy was born in the city of Kalynivka. He received his education at the Verkhovnyansk Agricultural Technical School. He dedicated 17 years of his life to the railway, working as a fourth-class shooter in the Koyatin Detachment of the Militarized Guard at the Vinnytsia station. During his time there, he established himself as an experienced and responsible worker, earning the respect of his colleagues and superiors.

Yuriy had significant military experience: from January 2015 to April 2016, he served under mobilization, and on June 26, 2019, he was called up for military service under contract. His combat path concluded in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region.

Soldier Yuriy Vasylovych Kuhai was killed on October 19, 2023, during an assault on enemy positions near the settlement of Krynkiv in the Kherson region, sustaining injuries that were incompatible with life.

Yuriy is survived by his wife and daughter.
