Yuriy LAHUTA
Yurii Lahuta was born in the village of Karpivtsi in the Zhytomyr region. He lived in Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. He received vocational education. He worked at Ukrzaliznytsia at the Starokostiantyniv track machine station for the repair of earthworks, part of the "Center for the Construction and Repair of Engineering Structures," as a concrete products and structures molder of the 4th category.
On June 16, 2023, Yurii was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a shooter in the 5th Separate Tank Brigade.
36-year-old soldier Yurii Lahuta passed away on October 5, 2024, at the Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region due to an acute myocardial infarction.
Colleagues describe Yurii as calm, hardworking, responsible, always ready to help, and someone who dreamed of having a family.
Yurii is survived by his parents and sister. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
