Yuriy MOSIYCHUK

Yuriy was born in the village of Vylhyr in the Rivne region and lived in the village of Ozhynyn. He worked on the railway for 12 years, holding the position of manual arc welder of the 4th category at the Shepetivka repair depot.

With the onset of the full-scale invasion, on March 2, 2022, Yuriy volunteered to go to the front. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. For over a year, he bravely carried out combat missions in the hottest spots of Donetsk region, including Vuhledar, Avdiivka, and Bakhmut. In early April, the defender sustained serious injuries.

43-year-old Yuriy Mosiychuk died on May 19, 2023, from severe wounds received in the settlement of Netailove in Donetsk region. Unfortunately, the injuries were incompatible with life.

Yuriy is survived by his wife and three daughters.

The team at the Shepetivka repair depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bids farewell to Yuriy Mosiychuk with deep sorrow. He fell as a Hero, defending the future of his three daughters. Eternal memory and Glory to the Defender!
