Serhii Volodymyrovych, at the age of 72, could not even imagine that he would have to bury his wife, daughter and granddaughter at the same time. Rashist invaders took the lives of almost the entire family. It happened on March 4 in the village of Markhalivka, in the Fastiv District of the Kyiv region. In the afternoon, at 15:24, the Russian army shelled this settlement. As a result of the daring airstrike, two houses were completely destroyed, and 9 more were damaged. A fire started at the site of the shelling. Although the rescuers managed to extinguish the fire quickly enough, in a little more than an hour, there were some human casualties. Two adults and two children were pulled out from under the rubble. But six villagers tragically died. The 13-year-old granddaughter of Mr. Serhii, his daughter and ex-wife were among them. And if earlier this rather cheerful pensioner had a lot of plans for the future at his 72 years, now with the loss of his entire family, with the death of his beloved granddaughter, he lost the meaning of life.
