Roman RODIN
Roman Rodin was born in the city of Druzhba in the Sumy region. In 2019, he began working for the railway, joining the Kyiv unit of the militarized security branch of the "Departmental Militarized Security." He served as a shooter of the 4th category in the shooting team at the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi station. Since 2023, he worked as a 4th category security guard for the station security team at Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi and for the escort of passenger trains.
During his time at work, he established himself as a diligent, conscientious, and proactive employee who earned considerable respect and authority among his colleagues.
45-year-old Roman Rodin was killed on August 25, 2024, as a result of shelling in the town of Svesa in the Sumy region. The strikes damaged a multi-story building, where Roman sustained injuries incompatible with life.
Roman was a widower. He is survived by two daughters, Yana and Oleksandra. To his loved ones, he is remembered as a caring, wise, and kind father.
