Oleksandr Vasylovych Kyryliuk, the chief sergeant and a reliable specialist of the "Vinnytsia Transprylad" branch, gave his life for the freedom of Ukraine on April 8, 2026. His heart stopped while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Lyman in the Kramatorsk district, in one of the most challenging areas of the front. He was 57 years old.

Oleksandr Vasylovych belonged to that generation of men whose life wisdom and calmness became a support for both his railway colleagues and his combat brothers.

He joined the "Iron Family" relatively recently—on October 28, 2024.

Despite his short time at the company, he managed to establish himself as an exceptionally responsible worker. Colleagues remember him as a person with a sincere heart and an open soul—someone who was always ready to lend a hand and find a solution to any difficult situation.

On October 1, 2025, Oleksandr Vasylovych was called up for military service. With his life experience, he became a leader for young soldiers.

He held the position of chief sergeant and served in the 120th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces.

He carried out combat missions in the Donetsk direction. For his comrades, he was an example not only of bravery but also of unwavering faith in our victory. His sergeant's word and dedication to duty kept the fighting spirit of the unit high even in the toughest moments.

The death of Oleksandr Kyryliuk is a great loss for Vinnytsia and the entire railway community. His courage and self-sacrifice are forever etched in the history of our struggle for independence.

The team of the "Vinnytsia Transprylad" branch expresses deep condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Oleksandr Vasylovych. We bow our heads in sorrow before the heroism of our Hero.

Eternal memory to Oleksandr Kyryliuk. Glory to the Hero!
