Borys Nynyk
Before the full-scale invasion, Borys worked as a boiler operator in the boiler service department of the "Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi Carriage Division" of the "Passenger Company" branch of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He had a total of 15 years of experience in the railway industry.
In the early days of the enemy invasion, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a driver-electrician. Later, on December 30, 2024, he was transferred to another military unit, where he served as a senior technician and deputy commander for technical matters. Borys Volodymyrovych participated in the liberation of Brovary region and defended our country in the Donetsk direction — Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar, and Druzhkivka.
He was killed on June 30, 2025, remaining true to his military oath, in battle for our homeland while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Samarske in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region.
