Denys Syniavskyi was born and lived in the town of Trostianets in the Sumy region. He graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub with a degree in "Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technologies."

He worked on the railway as an electromechanic in the oil-filling equipment group of the repair and inspection section in the Sumy electrical supply distance of the regional branch "Southern Railway."

In 2015, Denys fought in Donbas, defending the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. He then returned to work on the railway. After the de-occupation of his hometown Trostianets in March 2022, he actively participated in demining efforts. On October 18, 2022, Denys was mobilized. He served in the 91st Separate Okhtyrka Support Regiment as a sapper in the engineering-sapper platoon of the engineering-sapper battalion.

29-year-old Senior Soldier Denys Syniavskyi was killed on January 15, 2025, in the village of Berezove in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of an enemy drone strike.

He was awarded the medals "For the Defense of the Native State," "For Exemplary Military Service" of the III degree, "Participant of ATO," and a commendation from the commander of the Joint Forces Operation "Soledar" for his bravery and courage.

Denys was a very creative person, possessing excellent musical and vocal abilities, and played musical instruments. At work, he brought together the team of his section. To his acquaintances, Denys was remembered as a kind, sincere, open, and bright man, always ready to help. Denys is a model of human dignity, decency, honesty, and an example of service to the people of Ukraine, a role model for future generations, say those who knew him. He planned to start a family in 2025.

Denys is survived by his father, mother, younger brother, and beloved girlfriend. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
