Ivan VOLOSHANSKYI

Ivan Volodymyrovych Voloshanskyi was born on November 7, 1967, in the village of Isaiiv, Turka District, Lviv Region, into a large family. After finishing school, he served in the army. Later, he moved to Stryi and got married. He obtained vocational education in 1994 at Stryi Vocational Technical School No. 8, earning the qualification of electric gas welder.

Ivan worked for over 36 years as an electric welder on automatic and semi-automatic machines in the wheel and axle shop of the Stryi Car Repair Plant. His colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person. He had a strong and decisive character, which earned him authority and respect among his peers. He was distinguished by high moral qualities and was a patriot of Ukraine.

He was mobilized on June 29, 2024. Ivan served as a soldier in the anti-tank platoon of the mechanized battalion.

Unfortunately, on September 24, 2024, Ivan was killed in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.

We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and brothers.
