Maxim AKULENKO

Maxim was born in the city of Derazhnia, Khmelnytskyi region. In August 2024, he decided to dedicate his life to the railway – he became a train dispatcher of the 4th category at the Bohdanivtsi station in the Zhmerinka region, part of the "Station Operations Service" of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrzaliznytsia." In a short period of work, he established himself as a disciplined and responsible employee.

Colleagues remember him as someone always eager to learn professional skills.

On October 25, 2024, Maxim was called up for mobilization during a special period.

The hero was killed on December 12, 2024, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Mykolaivka in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
