Maiia VAYVALA
Maiia Anatoliivna Vaivala was born on November 2, 1975, in Khmelnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. She dedicated her life to the railway after marrying a railway worker from Kherson. She worked as a foreman (dismissed) at the 5th grade railway transport enterprises of the "Operational Repair Car Depot Kherson," a branch of "UZ Vagon-Service" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." She devoted 18 years to the railway.
Her colleagues remember her as a responsible and disciplined worker who diligently and effectively performed her duties. She was the soul of the team, always ready to help, regardless of personal or work circumstances. However, her greatest treasures in life were her son and daughter. Unfortunately, her son Oleksandr also lost his life during the shelling of Kherson, but Maiya continued to work and assist the population and animals in Kherson. She was a caring and loving mother.
Maiia's life was tragically cut short on May 15, 2025, due to enemy shelling in Kherson. She sustained injuries that were incompatible with life near her home.
We express our deepest condolences to her loved ones. Maiya is survived by her daughter Viktoriia and her mother Tetiana.
The team of the "Operational Repair Car Depot Kherson" mourns alongside Maiya's family. The bright memory of our colleague will forever remain in our hearts. Our team will greatly miss such a dedicated worker as Maiya. Eternal memory and honor to Maiya.
