Oleksandr ANDREYCHUK
Oleksandr Leonidovych Andreichuk, a dedicated railway worker and devoted defender of Ukraine, died on January 25, 2026, while carrying out a combat mission. The life of the Hero was cut short in the village of Mykolaivka, Chernihiv region. He was 33 years old.
Oleksandr was born on March 11, 1992, in the village of Voloske in the Khmelnytskyi region. After obtaining qualifications as an electric gas welder and driver at the Derazhnia Agrarian Lyceum, he chose the path of a railway worker, dedicating 9 years of his life to this profession.
Oleksandr's work history was linked to important and responsible duties at the South-Western Railway. In June 2016, he began working as a rigger at the Zhmerinka mechanized loading and unloading distance. In 2023, he transferred to the Khmelnytskyi branch of the "Terminal Operator" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" as a loader.
Colleagues remember Oleksandr as a person of exceptional will and honor. He was a diligent and disciplined worker who never shied away from hard work and was always ready to lend a helping hand to his comrades. He was known as a truthful, decisive, and extremely reliable person.
On August 3, 2025, Oleksandr was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the fact that his family was already enduring a difficult trial—his brother had been in enemy captivity since April 2023—Oleksandr bravely stood up to defend his homeland. He served faithfully, providing a worthy resistance to the occupiers, and remained true to his oath to the people of Ukraine until his last breath.
For Oleksandr, family was the most precious treasure for which he went to the front. His death is a great loss for the community and the entire railway family.
Oleksandr is survived by his mother, three children, and a brother, for whom the entire family is waiting to return from captivity.
The team of the "Terminal Operator" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" expresses its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Oleksandr Andreichuk. His courage, indomitable spirit, and selflessness will forever be etched in our hearts.
Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!
