Oleksandr Lytvynenko
Oleksandr Anatoliyovych was born in the town of Mezhova, Dnipropetrovsk region.
After the onset of the full-scale invasion, he did not evacuate but continued to work at the "Pokrovsk Locomotive Depot." As the front approached in June, he, along with other employees, was transferred internally to the "Sloviansk Locomotive Depot," where he worked as a locomotive engineer in the locomotive servicing section at Bakhmut station, part of the "Sloviansk Locomotive Depot" of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He worked on the railway for 26 years.
On July 13, 2025, at the Dobropillya station, during shunting operations in the "Shakhta 3 Bilozerska" yard, an FPV drone struck the locomotive series ChMEZ No. 3426, resulting in a fire. Oleksandr Anatoliyovych and a colleague died on the spot while performing their official duties.
Colleagues and friends remember him as a kind, always smiling, sincere, and reliable person. He was well-versed in his work and shared his professional experience with the younger generation.
