Oleksandr PROZOROVSKYI

Oleksandr was born in the urban-type settlement of Yelyzavethradka in the Oleksandrivsk district of Kirovohrad region, where he lived with his family.

In April 2016, he began working on the railway as a mason in the production unit "Construction and Assembly Works and Civil Structures 'Znamyanka Construction and Assembly Train'" of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." From May 2021, he worked as a repair locksmith for rolling stock at the "Technical Maintenance Point for Wagons at Znamyanka Station," part of the "Operational Wagon Depot Znamyanka" under the wagon service of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He left this position to return to military service under contract.

Since childhood, Oleksandr dreamed of becoming a soldier. Therefore, in 2016, he enlisted, and in 2017, he was accepted for military service under contract in the National Guard of Ukraine. In 2021, he was transferred to the Separate Air Assault Brigade. Since 2017, Oleksandr participated directly in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2019, he received the status of "combatant." He bravely defended Ukrainian land from enemies, saved his comrades, and inspired everyone with his patriotism and resilience.

On December 7, 2024, Oleksandr Prozorovskyi was killed in the Donetsk region, Volnovakha district, near the village of Odradne.

He is survived by his mother, wife, and son.
