In 2024, he was promoted to a 6th-grade car inspector-repairman at the technical maintenance point of the Zaporizhia-Live station in the Zaporizhia regional department of station operations of the "Station Operations Service." He dedicated over two decades to working on the railway.

Unfortunately, Olexandr was killed while performing a combat mission in Donetsk on August 29, 2025.
The head of the technical maintenance point of the Zaporizhia-Live car depot, Volodymyr Kuznetsov, noted that Olexandr's death is a great loss for the team: "He was a master of the highest class; the 6th grade was awarded to him rightfully. He participated in professional skill competitions numerous times. A responsible and reliable worker who shared his extensive experience with the youth," said Volodymyr Iviliiovych. "An excellent colleague, he maintained warm relationships with everyone in the team, and even after mobilization, he was interested in the life of the technical maintenance point. A good family man." Olexandr's wife, Olena, also remembers her husband as a wonderful person, a loving husband and father, sharing that in his free time, Olexandr enjoyed fishing and working on his motorcycle. "Of course, like in every family, we had difficult moments," the woman recounts, "but I only remember the good, the positive about him."
He is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.
The team at the technical maintenance point of the Zaporizhia-Live station mourns this irreparable loss. We express our sincere condolences to Olexandr's family and loved ones. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
