Pavlo KUBASOV
Pavlo was born in the town of Bilytske, Donetsk region, Ukraine, where he lived with his family. After graduating from the University of Transport in 2013, he began working as a train assembler at the Krasnoarmiisk station of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," marking the start of his career in railway transport. From July 2021 to January 2022, he served as a park duty officer at the Pokrovsk station. From January 2022 to September 2025, he worked as a dispatcher at the Pokrovsk railway station.
On September 5, 2025, Pavlo decided to evacuate from his hometown Bilytske, which was close to active combat operations, to a safer location. However, he came under enemy fire from an FPV drone, sustaining severe injuries that ultimately led to his death.
Colleagues remember him as a responsible and disciplined worker who diligently and effectively performed his duties, always able to engage in conversation and share a good joke. His mother struggles to cope with the painful loss, but despite everything, she remembers him as a person who had a keen interest in technology, loved to joke, and could provide support in difficult times.
Pavlo is survived by his mother.
The memory of Pavlo will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The team expresses sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
