Pavlo PALIVODA
Pavlo was born in the town of Demurine, Mezhivskyi District, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where he lived with his family. He began working on the railway as an electrical technician at the Krasnoarmiisk Electric Supply Substation.
He graduated from the Sloviansk College of Railway Transport in June 2004. In 2020, Pavlo Oleksandrovych was appointed head of the 2nd group of the Demurine Electric Supply Substation, part of the Pokrovsk Electric Supply Division of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." During his time in this position, he proved to be disciplined, hardworking, and demanding of himself and his subordinates. He was respected and held in high regard by his colleagues. He was sociable, punctual, and cheerful.
Joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Pavlo Oleksandrovych valiantly defended the country from the occupiers.
However, on September 20, 2024, Pavlo Oleksandrovych heroically lost his life near the settlement of Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast while performing his official combat duties, defending the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Pavlo is survived by his family, which includes two sons.
The team at the Pokrovsk Electric Supply Division expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones regarding this irreparable loss. The bright memory of our brave colleague and hero, who defended Ukraine until his last breath, will forever live in our hearts. Eternal glory!
