Sergiy CHUBAR
27-year-old Senior Soldier Serhiy Chubar was born in the village of Novooleksiyivka, Chernivtsi region. He worked as a trackman of the 4th category in the Ovruch track distance of the regional branch of the "South-Western Railway."
On February 24, 2022, Serhiy took up arms to defend his homeland. He was wounded twice: in June 2022 and March 2023.
Senior Soldier Serhiy Chubar passed away on April 17, 2025, at the National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Hospital" due to injuries sustained while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Oleshnya, Kursk region, Russia.
To his colleagues, Serhiy was remembered as a diligent worker, reliable, responsible, and goal-oriented. He was a person with a great sense of humor, cheerful, polite, kind, and decent.
Serhiy is survived by his wife, Tetiana, and son, Dmytro.
