Sergiy HRYHORASH

Serhiy Hryhorash was born in the city of Krasnoarmiisk (now Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk region, where he lived. In 2011, he graduated from the Avdiivka Vocational Technical School, after which he began working on the railway. He served as an assistant locomotive driver at the Pokrovsk locomotive depot.

32-year-old Serhiy was killed on March 7, 2025, as a result of a missile strike in the city of Dobropillia – a missile hit and exploded in the yard of the house where Serhiy was at that moment.

“Serhiy was a very bright and joyful person. During the war, he took an active part in the evacuation of property from railway enterprises and performed other tasks that strengthened the country's defense capabilities. Despite the threat to his own life and health, he continued to fulfill his work duties. He was respected among colleagues and friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand,” his colleagues recall.

Serhiy is survived by his parents and younger brother. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
