Sergiy Postelnyak

Serhiy worked as a fourth-grade locksmith for the repair of rolling stock at the Uzhhorod passenger car depot.

On April 26, 2024, Serhiy Anatoliyovych was called up for military service in the first anti-aircraft missile platoon of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battery of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended his homeland in many important strategic areas.

Serhiy was killed on August 13, 2025, near the settlement of Myropillia in the Sumy district of the Sumy region while carrying out a combat mission. He demonstrated courage and loyalty to his oath, giving his life for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

At home, a loving wife and daughter awaited Serhiy.

The entire railway family mourns deeply over this tragic loss. The memory of his sacrifice will live on forever!
