Svitlana CHEREPASHKINA
Fifty-three-year-old Svitlana Cherepashkina was killed on September 20, 2024, in the village of Kivsharivka, Kharkiv region, during an enemy shelling. The woman sustained blast injuries and suffered other multiple traumas.
Svitlana was born in the village of Kurylivka in the Kharkiv region. She lived in Kivsharivka. She received a secondary education and worked as an operator at the duty station of Kupiansk-Sorting, part of the "Station Operations Service" of Ukrzaliznytsia. Since December 2022, she had been on leave due to the Kupiansk-Sorting station being non-operational.
Svitlana approached her duties with diligence, earning the respect of her colleagues and actively participating in the community life of the team. Her colleagues remembered her as a kind and sociable person.
Svitlana is survived by her husband and two sons.
