Viktor DAINEKA
Viktor was born in the village of Morkets on the Brovary region. In 2008, he joined the railway family as a painter, and from 2014, he worked as a car inspector-repairman at the Darnița station of the regional branch "South-Western Railway."
Colleagues remember him as kind, calm, intelligent, balanced, and hardworking. He quickly earned the respect of his peers.
On August 27, 2024, Viktor joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he was an example of courage and dedication for his comrades. He bravely defended his homeland and gave a worthy resistance to the occupiers.
Viktor died on February 3, 2025, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, from a fatal explosive injury in the Kharkiv region.
His wife remembers him as a person passionate about railways, who loved music and had a knack for organizing celebrations and events as a "host." He dreamed of spending his old age with his family, enjoying his grandchildren and tending to the land.
We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Viktor is survived by his wife.
The team at the "Darnița Car Maintenance Point" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
